Some people get HCV

It's their fault, they were young

They admit it.

Some contract HCV

Through no fault

Of their own.

We all learn by our mistakes

Please friends, forgive

But do not forget!

It could have happened

To anyone you know

Forget the stigma!

Make your point, do not surrender

Make sure July 28th

Is a Day to remember!

I am so glad you like my poem - I tell it as it is. I do have a story. Mine was a large blood transfusion but I understand that when you are young you take chances, do not think of consequences etc. So you should NOT be punished in life for your mistakes.
