ive been taking statins since my heart attack last june and i must say ive had bad pain in my left side of my back when i lay on my bed..and when i try to turn over its very painful...would anyone think it could be them thanks in advance

It could be but it's hard to tell. Have you been taking coenzyme q10 every day? It's very important as statins block the production of it.
It could be. Go see your doc tell him the problem and tell him you think it might be the statin and go from there. There are many varieties and a change might make it go away.
Have a word with your cardiologist / lipidologist. They will tend to know a lot more about statins than the GP.
The symptoms you describe may well be nothing to do with statins, so well worth getting them checked out. Also, different statins have different side effects (although the vast majority of people get no side effects from them at all).
