AF medication

Hi, I have had an ablation for AF about 2 yrs ago.

I have had 3 minor episodes since, but they resolved with fleicanide as a pill in the pocket.

I currently take, Fleicanide 50mg a day, Rivaroxaban daily, 2.5mg of Bisoprolol daily, Atorvastatin and Pantropazole, all taken with my evening meal, All advised by my Cardiologist.

I think my condition is reasonably well controlled but I do not sleep well, but have no idea if its the medication.

Can anyone advise me???

Also I have often thought if I could just take some of the medication on alternate days.

Any advice is welcome

Admittedly everyone's position is distinct. Slow afib with me. Have undergone a couple ablations. 4 or so cardioversions. Latest combination of meds ( past 20 months ) have worked well. Rhythmol & Xarelto. With sleep, I find sufficient physical exertion each day a fine ingredient.

The Atorvastatin can sometimes cause sleep issues, but I would not reduce the dosage. Your other medication sound reasonable, so I would not fiddle about too much either. For your info (as misery loves company!) I am on Atorva, Flecainide, Bisoprolol, Apixaban, Clopidogrel, Losartan, Amlodipine, Finasteride, Tamsulosin. The list has grown in the last few years, but I generally sleep well! Good luck!

I was taking Tamulosin bit hated the side effects, I now just take the Dutasteride for BPH.

Thanks for replying
