bpm and chest “pain”

hi everyone,

i had a successful ablation done 6 months ago, but still get “weird” heart rhythm and what feels like flutters. my alivecor reads normal every time, nothing over 91 bpm, unless i exert myself/ do exercise and a chest sensation that is not necessarily painful or call for concern but it feels like a pinching feeling in the center of my chest. i sometimes get shortness of breath if i think about it too much. is it normal to still get these 6 months after getting an ablation? i’ve seen and read the recovery page, but wanted to read peoples experiences. thank you

It can take many months to make a full recovery following an ablation, you may find it helpful to download our 'Recovering from an Ablation' factsheet from the A F Association online Patient Resources heartrhythmalliance.org/afa... You may also find the presentations helpful in the HRC2021 A F Association Patients Day, which is currently available "on demand"
