So I'm going to make an assumption here that you have had PVCs in the past and know what they feel like correct? If so, is it this thud that is concerning you? And then you have a short run of PVCs that last less than 5 Seconds? I have those all the time. In fact I've been having them for the last couple of hours today even. Sometimes the thud is significant, and sometimes I barely feel it. But there's almost always a thud just before a PVC. If this is truly concerning for you, and it's something different than what you've experienced before, then it may ease your mind to go to the hospital and have them check you out. But I see that you posted this 10 hours ago so I'm wondering how you're feeling now? I have had PVCs for probably three or four years now. There is no Rhyme or Reason for them. There are times where I go months and months without any problems and then I get to run of them for a couple of weeks. I can't determine usually what it is I've done differently that triggers them or what the deal is, but I know that when something different from what I've experienced before happens, I usually end up going to the hospital. And in most cases, they tell me it's just PVCs and send me home. There are drugs that I've been offered that apparently will minimize this feeling, but I have resisted taking them, as when I have tried them briefly in the past the side effects seem worse then the thuds and the PVCs. I hope you're feeling better and this issue has resolved for you. At least for now.

Yes I’ve been dealing with them for over 6 years. But for the past couple of months they’ve been more aggressive and persistent to the point that I went to the hospital and got admitted they ran an EKG echo cardio gram blood test and a chest x-ray at it all came back normal. The only thing they found was that I had PVCs. At the moment I have a Holter monitor that I’m wearing for two weeks that was prescribed by a cardiologist that my GP referred me to . After her looking at all my test she also says I’m too young to have any heart related issues but I can’t seem to wrap my hands around how everything can be normal and feels so many PVCs are flat out like crap. The ones that really put me in a panic are the hard foods and the run of your regular beach that come right after.

Try the Atrial Fibrillation forum on Health Unlocked. There are lots of knowledgeable people there. I have seen your experience described there, and I'm sure it's not serious, but I can't remember the details - but someone else on it will.
