I feel so alone, confuse and scared I was diagnose with sinus tachycardia a year ago and put on propranolol it has been a horrible rollercoaster. I dont have any family support I have become very depress I dont know how to handle every everyday task. I went from a out going socialable person to someone I don't even recognize. I been looking for treatments and some type of solution. I just feel so hopeless.

Hi Myablu, I was diagnosed with sinus tachycardia about 6 years ago. I do not take any medication but was offered bisopranol. I think I must be lucky because it only happens every couple of months and only lasts about 10 to 15 minutes. I only drink decaffinated tea and coffee. Sometimes the medication can make you feel tired and breathless. Try talking to your Dr about dosage and other possible Meds. Take care, you are not alone.

Hi Myablu, i have also suffered with sinus tachycardia for 3 years the triggers are eating, drinking, being tired etc im also on Propanalol, one a day and i can take another 3 a day if i get tachycardia, I know its easily said than done but try not to let it rule your life our hearts are a strong muscle and i read people have it for many years and its not life threatening , i would book an appointment with your gp if i was you to review dosage of your propanolol . All the best.
