I had an ovarian torsion when I was six

Hi, I had an ovarian torsion (my ovary was twisted) when I was 6. The doctors did not know what was wrong with my so they took my in for emergency exploratory surgery. The doctors removed one of my ovaries and I had a huge vertical scar right right below my bellybutton. I am 14 now and I still have the scar, and it makes the stomach stick out a little bit, is there anything I could do to make it better? or just help the scar go away?
