Hi everyone, the colours in the forest are changing every day now so I went for a walk this afternoon when the light suddenly changed as it started to rain slightly so the orange of the foliage was stunning and there's lots and lots of subtle shades of russet here. You can see the carpet of leaves as they are falling all the time now so as we have wind and rain coming I imagine we'll have a carpet of leaves soon and bare trees. Further along the path it is vibrant with the freshly fallen leaves so it's a very attractive time of year to get out there.
I do like being in the forest in the winter as its easier to cut through the forest off the paths and to spot the wildlife and its nice wrapping up and walking in cold crisp weather but I'm still going to enjoy the autumn colours while I can so will be posting more photo's soon no doubt.
