The beauty of Octobers bright blue sky.

Hi everyone,

I love this time of year the evenings are getting longer the daylight hours shorter and it gets colder but its a wonderful time of the year as the trees are now Turing into their autumn colours before they fall off for the winter and soon the forest will be looking spectacular.

I took this photo this afternoon on my way home as I was enchanted by the light shining through the yellowing leaves and this is enhanced now the sun is getting lower in the sky creating these warmer colours. In the winter its bare here and the path is often very muddy so its not always so photogenic and thats shows the real beauty of nature.

Moments like this however fleeting can have a very positive and lasting effect on us and why I love walking and being amongst nature. 🍂

Morning Jerry, we love Autumn particularly when it's dry, like a child it's fun to shuffle through crisp dry leaves. Not so good when leaves are wet on pavements. Autumn brings busy days clearing the garden and putting it to bed for the winter. Stay safe Alice

Good morning Alice, now crisp leaves underfoot is a magical experience but as you say it soon turns into leaf mould making pavements slippery.

And you’re right there’s lots to keep us busy in our gardens preparing it for winter.
