Hi All

It has been many years since I was on a bike.

I would like to cycle again, but looking at the bikes are so expensive.

I like the ones with a basket o the front.

Did not realise how expensive they are.

If you don't need a shiny brand new bike they need not be very expensive. I've seen bikes given away for nothing on Freecycle and baskets are cheap and not difficult to strap on the handlebars.

I agree with slipstick as Freecycle is very good. Also, our local recycling centre have an area where people leave bikes they no longer want and I've seen some decent ones, maybe your local one does the same, worth a check.

HiI did see lovely one on eBay , it’s got a few bidders, it’s not met the reserve yet, and a few days to go.

Will see if I can find something similar.
