I accidentally found this snippet of information today so thought I’d share it....

According to the CSG Network's calorie burn calculator, a 160-lb. person walking for 20 minutes at a brisk pace of 3.5 mph will burn 97 calories. Therefore, if this person walked 20 minutes daily every day of the week, he would burn a total of almost 700 calories.

20 minutes of walking a day is doable for most people and to spin it on it’s head if you don’t walk 20 minutes a day that’s 2,800 calories a month that could have been burned off but weren’t you can see how the un burnt calories build up if you are too inactive.

On that note .......πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈπŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ

Very encouraging and 20 minutes is definitely doable πŸ˜€

I have an Apple Watch that tells me how many calories I have burnt - and 30 or 40 km/week equates to about one pound of fat lost per week.

Does it. That’s pretty good. I suppose the trick is that you don’t eat more calories than you’re burning πŸ‘πŸ˜

Eating too much makes you fat.

Eating less can suppress your metabolism.

Giving up grains, potatoes and sugar, and/or eating LCHF, exercising and Not Eating All Day, aka Intermittent Fasting are the best ways to lose weight - See:

I don’t need to lose weight personally but I did do LCHF a few years ago as an experiment and any excess weight falls off so I know that works. If I ever put on weight that would be my first choice. I like the idea of Intermittent fasting but am physically active almost every day so need to eat lots and I love healthy food. I would struggle to do the fasting but I understand it’s very good for you and not only for weight loss. Thank you for the link. πŸ™‚ Ali
