VVS & autonomic nervous system issues

hi

has anyone had vasovagal syncope with vasodepressor response and autonomic dysfunction along with their concussion syndrome?

I’ve had this since August 2023 but just finally diagnosed after tilt table and 24 hour monitoring tests.

Wondering how and if people did get better? Currently have just been asked to add one table spoon of salt to a litre of water in the morning and lunchtime. Drink 3 litres in total and I’ve bought some compression pants.

I did already use compressor socks so only real change is the salt. Not sure if there is anything else I could do.

I do short walks, exercise has not been possible

thanks

Rest and good health is the key to making the best of it. Your symptoms are due to the extent of your brain injury, so just manage it as best you can.

Has your doctor checked your blood, particularly vitamin b12?

Hi,

I have b12 vitamins I take along with a few others. Bloods were satisfactory back in April 2024 and I’m getting them redone next week to check.

I rest everyday, the only thing I do is a short drive, walk and food taking about 3 hours in total.

I tried the buffalo test and just haven’t been able to exercise as walking triggers symptoms.

Vestibular issues, light and noise sensitivity probably just compared the issue.

It’s been about a week with salts and compression pants but no difference yet
