I just checked my BT bill and I'm on the social tariff. Just thought I'd remind you that if you are on universal credit, employment support or pension credits you can get BT broadband for half price.
These are also available on virgin, sky and vodaphone.
Yep that's right, when you register you have to give permission for them to access your DWP records to prove you are in receipt of the right benefits. After that point you get the reduced tariff automatically year on year until your DWP status changes.
I don't think enough people know about this so thank you for pointing it out, for me I spotted an article in the paper and phoned sky up and by simply giving my national number my broadband went down
