I would like to tell everyone about the peace I found. (I know I'm having a bump in the road just now)About a year ago some was asking about garden away I started to help as you passing on tips showing and helping. Long story short I got a bit of land and now I'm making a community allotment. So many people have so many problems but I don't know if its being outside or just being with other people started changing and making new friends. It's coming on slowly but I'm helping others and in a funny way its helping me. I just wanted to share something positive I know I was really down other day but bumps in the road happen and life go's on. I'm not saying this will work for everyone but garden and helping others helps me. Plus side is of have a memory like a goldfish is people tell me stuff because I can't remember so don't tell anyone else. 😂

😘

Being outside is very underrated. I always hiked up until my tbi. I now Goe on very short walks.

Just being out surrounded by greenery is so beneficial. The best feeling is being on grass barefoot.

I do get strange looks when walking around Stanley home gardens , but hey I enjoy it and it's so relaxing.

We have a small garden with a tiny patch of lawn. But this is my chill area, and yes even in the rain.

Try the bare feet trick, but maybe not in the allotment. Unless there's a patch of grass.

Sounds great, something to motivate you, getting the brain juices flowing and synapses firing, meeting people, a sense of community and helping people is rewarding.

Let us all know how the garden comes along.

So good to see these positive comments after yesterday Duchess. My garden backs onto allotments which makes for a peaceful backdrop. I spend as much time as possible in the garden ; it's my own piece of heaven...🌳☘️🍃🍂🐞🐝 x

thank you for sharing this .. you are so right . Being able to help others is Great way of doing something useful and doing something positive very much helps the way you feel .. .. you’ve reminded me of what I was doing in volunteering with people who have difficulty after a stroke . I’d tried to do other things but failed and forgot the positive I was getting from volunteer work with people who didn’t care about my memory/finding words or being unable to concentrate and talk at the same time .. thank you agin for reminding me /us what we can do …Sue 😊

Have a wonderful day, I have discovered that walking with my little doggy Shelley and seeing how the seasons changed is absolutely amazing, it’s a bit like the trees are going to sleep. Everything goes to sleep which is outside and then in spring it spring back life and all the glory daffodils, tulips, snow drops the trees coming to life or waking up. It’s a bit like we are we have all days when we’re down then days when we are up. Just like the seasons.

I wish all mums a very happy Mother’s Day with love Liz and Shelly happy Mother’s Day.💐🙏🌹

this so healthy in so many ways. Positivity breeds positivity and your improved mood lifts others. We do become what we think and we can literally think ourselves happy and well, neuroscience proves this. What a great example you are.
