This may interest some in dealing with trauma.

Writing the stuff down that whorls about in your mind gets it out and when you read it you get a different impression of yourself.

I tend to do this and it keeps me on the straight and narrow path.

Some people find writing difficult so this may help

breathworks-mindfulness.org...

There are some bursary options available by the looks of it.

Breathworks are a Bonafide organisation.

After threatening my Trust with a medical negligence claim, I am finally getting 'treatment' that I have been fighting for, for three years - 5 years into this journey and suffered further concussion.

I now have zero connection to my 'emotional' self, I have driven myself into a perpetual cycle of symptoms because I continually forced myself to 'push through' them, and that 'activation' is now my default operating system. They left me to become 'this'.

Your link will be very useful to help me learn again.

Yep, I agree, fighting the system is more traumatizing than the brain injury itself. It makes you anxious and stressed and confused about your own sense of being human. I have a theory that much of the depression reported by people with BI is caused by the NHS and DWP because they are unfit for purpose.

Go for it Feebie, explore and recover your full sense of being.

I agree with your theory, Pinkvision. I have had nothing from my GP.
