Hey everyone, I have just recently suffered from a TBI in my 30's and are shocked to know that there is little awareness or support regarding the recovery journey and how each individuals journey is different.

Now I'm on a mission to make a change!

I am wanting to reach out to anyone that has suffered from a TBI and would like to contribute to raising more awareness about TBI worldwide. Your contribution is as simple as sharing your story/journey if this sounds like something you would be interested in please email me traumaticbraininjurynz@gmail.com for further information.

Many thanks in advance

Good for you! BI on the whole is very widely misunderstood. The public in general seem really unaware of how easily BI could affect them and also that there are hidden consequences for the health and wellbeing of individuals affected by it. I think the situation is even worse for younger people. Generally I guess people don't understand that BI can occur at any age and are oblivious to the effects unless it has happened to them. Therefore it is very easy for BI sufferers to feel isolated and alone. I would welcome any attempt to raise awareness. Good luck with it all.
