Has anyone any tips or information regarding look at getting a support person to assist, May be only needed once a week to check diary, eating ok etc. where do you start looking?

Hi, you could ask your local headway to help. Or contact your local council or adult social services. Ask about direct payments and if you qualify.

Direct payments is a payment that can be used to employ a personal assistant for so many hours a week.
