Dear tereasa12,
contact 'Re-Vitalise' on 03033030145, they two Fully Adated Centres (with a third currently being refurbished). They are rather expensive (what isn't these days!) but you might be able to get a Grant, to wards the cost.
I'm going to Jubilee Lodge, at Chigwell near London, in April myself (Covid notwithstanding). The other Centre(s) are near Southport and Netley, near Southhampton (closed until next year).
Give their, actually rather Friendly Team, a call. You never know I might see you there!

There are some places with generally mobile hoists, and so on. In the past I’ve used them for work.
The other option is to hire a mobile hoist or take yours with you? Depending on the hotel will depend on how easy or not that is.
Andrew. My sister is going there in April too. She goes regularly, but not for two years due to Covid. It’s been hard without a break !She’s going on 25th
Can't help with this Teresa but hope you find somewhere suitable and special for your husband & self... x
Hi Teresa,I am promoting the healing benefits of Mother Nature by suggesting you look at a boating holiday on a specially adapted boat such as Red Watch. I know budget and availability of family/friends to help crew may be issues but, if it is feasible, I think you’d both get the benefit of some canal cruising. This isn’t the only company or organisation serving our niche market so worth searching further if I have piqued your interest.
