Hi, how long did you take them for ? I was meant to start a 2 month course of them 4 days past. Think I have put myself off taken them after reading the side affects, planning on starting them tonight , at least for time being I’m not at work , but in all honesty I’d rather be at work
Hello H, at the time they helped me cope with ny 24/7 headache, and the side effects were pretty mild. I needed to take them last thing at night because they made me pretty groggy, and I got a dry mouth from them. But I did better on Duloxetine - which is prescribed for fibromyalgia.
How are you, did you get antivirals?
Hi heavychunk, I used to take three at night for continuing head pain, they did help in reducing pain, but I have put about three stone in weight on, I have now come off them and gone onto tipimarate, they seem to be working with the pain so fingers crossed love Alice xx
Hi I was taking these for when I had tennis elbow to help me sleep and also for the pain. I didnt have no side effects and they seemed to work. Then again everyone is different. The painkillers I was taking for my bleed on the brain were giving me headaches so i had to stop taking these
I was prescribed them for a few weeks after discharge from hospital plus paracetamol, to be honest no idea if they helped or not as I was either asleep be that bed or sofa or awake and fairly confused, I have barely any memory of that time.
I’m told that was a fair bit of pain after all cracked skull and what not, and the painkillers where intended and did work?
I still occasionally get dull aches/pain along the fracture line I’ve never found anything to help with that.
I took amitriptyline for a couple of months after having a stroke mimic. I stopped taking them myself as they completely knocked me out and I didn't like the feeling.
