Been on Wikipedia but it just doesn’t seem to relate to how I feel. I’m

Hi. Have you tried breathing exercises? Have a look at Caroline McCready's YouTube channel. It really can work to calm anxiety. Have you been back to your doctors and told them how you are feeling?
You could call Anxiety UK on 0344 775 774. I got advice for a someone from them and they are really good. Their website is
anxietyuk.org.uk
If you feel suicidal, there is an organisation called Maytree that might be suitable (0207 263 7070.) Also the Samaritans on 116 123.
Keep in mind that it might be the medication that is making things so difficult. If that is adjusted/sorted it could be the key.
Hi AnxiousMind, first of all, talk to someone on the phone now. Use the numbers Marnie has put.
Are you on your own at home? If you feel you might hurt yourself, please go to somewhere where you can be around other people, or to A&E.
Your drug might need changing, so once you feel a bit easier either contact the hospital or your GP to help you get an urgent message to your consultant,
Dear AnxiousMind, if you havent already done so please go and talk to your GP, and Marnie's suggestion of Anxiety UK sounds a good idea. Everyone responds differently to medication and therapies, for myself I found Talking Therapies (I think you can either refer yourself or your GP can refer you) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy helped me reduce the anxiety and stress I feel long term. Sending you a virtual hug and moral support.
