Hurting feet
Hi one thing is to limit exercise to allow the inflammation to settle, the other thing is to either use a resistance band on your toes, leg straight, and push against the band. Alternatively using a low step, toes on the step, lift up and relax down. Either stretch start with what is comfortable, but aim for 10 repetitions, as things ease you can do more sets of 10, but if it hurts draw back.
Hello there. Take a look at insoles for your shoes - the cushioning really helps. And put a baked bean tin (or similar!) in the fridge and then roll your foot over it when sitting down.
I’ve found that both help. I can’t take anti inflammatories but they would also help in the short term. Good luck!

Look at getting arch support insoles for yr shoes.... Even in your slippers. Do the exercises 5 times a day. Stretch your calf muscles too.
They make a foot brace to be used at night which flexes (or doesn't allow flexing) of the foot tendon which is causing pain. It helped me years ago.
They also make plantar fasciitis shoes. If it is one foot, get a folling device to rest the knee on to eliminate your weight on the plantar fasciitis foot? I've seen them before for people who broke their leg/knee/foot and had to reduce their weight on their leg/knee/foot.
Ok thank you hope that helps me. Much appreciated.
It's horrible isn't it? I've had it a couple of times. Try putting your foot in a bowl if hot water then onto an ice pack, in and out a few times. Also, I've just bought a little device off the internet called Plantarcure. Cost £35, but as I don't have plantarfasciitus at the moment I can't say if it works I'm afraid! (Bought it for husband who thought he had it, but didn't). At least I have it for next time!
I suffer with chronic PF and went for all sorts of treatment (all the way to corporeal shock therapy - where they apply a controlled current to the affected area on your feet to provoke an inflammatory response) but the main things that helped me were keeping a small plastic bottle with frozen water inside (only fill the bottle two thirds or it'll burst when the water expands as it freezes) and using it to roll under foot while sitting (obviously or you'll fall over) and the other thing was exercises given to me by my amazing ESP in which you stand by a wall or hold onto a chair (again very important to not fall over ) and very slowly raise yourself up on your toes and hold it for a few seconds and then lower to the floor again. Repeat if half a dozen times as many times a day as you can fit in. I found doing it while waiting for the kettle to boil was a great opportunity and it soon became habit. It really helps to stretch out and soften the muscle that is causing the problem. I still wear orthotics but these things really helped me.
I hope you get some relief soon.
I’ve bought some socks from amazon. I’m on my feet all day in a wharehouse. I try to stretch through out the day. Thank you for your help
