Thanks for the reminder and all the good work especially now in these difficult times.
We all know that colds and flu symptoms affect HI survivors more than when they were pre-injury. Has the team any experience to pass on how Covid-19 affects those with HI ?
Hi, at this stage we don't have enough information on the experiences of people with brain injury to share, and the disease is still very new meaning there are many unanswered questions.
We will of course keep an eye on it and share anything that may help. In the meantime, it would be sensible to follow the advice laid out on the NHS website for people in the 'increased risk' group, where neurological conditions are included. Some people may have conditions that put them in the 'most at risk' group.
