Because my partner is working my esa was stopped. This benefits thing drives me crazy it’s never ending. We struggle at the best of times and this is just added pressure. Now we will have to do the whole esa thing again🛑

If your local CAB is still operational they can help with form filling. Also, if you have a Welfare Rights officer within your local council, I've found them brilliant in the past for support with claims......even accompanied me to appeal hearings.

Or try the following site for great, accessible guidance on applications and general advice on dealing with benefit agencies:-

Good luck Pat. xx

There are two parts to ESA contribution based and house income based. For 3 years I made the mistake of not asking to look at my contribution and I would have been entitled to this esa. Because I left it 3 years I now have not put anything into contribution and failed. Don't wait take it further on your contribution not house earnings.

I believe Capita carries out PIP assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) in Wales, the West Midlands and the East Midlands.

Get good advice on dealing with the assessors. (and then share on here please)

Good luck.
