Bubble burst?

Suffered TBI nearly 12 months ago now , endured some difficult times whilst recovering , attended local brain injury unit , where I received some fantastic help so much so that I no longer felt I needed to attend any longer . My Dr was happy with my recovery , I had enjoyed a 4 or 5 month feeling of "euphoria" I couldn't stop smiling or stop talking I felt absolutely amazing, my TBI seemed a distant memory. That feeling has since long gone sadly, starting to experience some crushing headaches where my head feels like its in a vice , and some of my earlier symptoms have reared themselves again , I'm hoping this is a passing feeling but would welcome any advice .

I'd go back to your GP and ask to be referred for a scan just to be safe x

You should listen to your wife. Us wives talk alot of sense (most of the time, lol)

It's probably nothing and if you've been over doing things it could be the bodies way of saying slow down a bit.

I would imagine that the thought of another scan is a frightening thought. But please don't put it off, better to be safe xx

Again, all sounds like common sense , I just need to "man up" and do the obvious thing . My good wife has had to put up with an awful lot

Agree with others ; get the scan. Headaches are one of the commonest symptoms after a brain injury but, as it's a new symptom for you, it needs investigating. Whatever the cause it'll be dealt with, but not without clearer information.

I've had subsequent scans owing to headaches and dizziness but all have shown no changes.

Best wishes, Cat..........
