I'm listening to London 94.9fm about some people f... - Headway
I'm listening to London 94.9fm about some people feeling 'light' after near death. I've nearly died twice and don't feel this. Does anyone?
I've heard of near death experiences, people seeing bright light, but not 'feeling light' and also not been in same position as you or them. Hope its not scaring you, the programme.
I experienced a feeling of weightlessness and light headedness seconds before I lost consciousness with a Subarachnoid haemorrhage. I can only assume it is caused by either reduced oxygen and/or blood supply to the brain. Is this what you meant about feeling 'light' ?
I've read that it's caused by the lack of oxygen, I certainly didn't feel anything at all and after my experience, I was always hopeful ther was something after death, but I now feel that there's nothing at all, but on the plus side nothing to be scared of either. Janet
Only lightheaded after several large Wray and Nephews and Ginger Beer or Jamiesons or Bushmills and water. I find 94.9MHz boring; better latitude for me on 97.3MHz. .
Amstel isn't a bad beer either - came across that when in Aden and have recently discovered it when I had an odd pint last Friday week back. You're only here the once - make it count.
When I was in a coma for 12 days last May I had a few lucid dreams which are even still vivid today. I cannot not remember anything else. Except two entities one male one female I don't know how I know this but I just do. The other thing about them was they had piecing light blue eye's. Also people who say there's no life after death. Well as we are made of energy and energy cannot die therefore we can't possibly die
Hi Cauthery
What do you mean by 'feeling light'?
Do you mean the body feels 'light' in weight or do you mean feeling the light from a lamp or the sun, or do you mean something else?
Thanks
Hi everyone
I hope you all had a good day. I went to a re-think course aiming to raise mental health awareness.
Responses are all very enlightening. I actually meant a light of hope. Everyones comments have been very interesting. Sorry for lack of clarity.
