Anyone done a long flight after their brain bleed? If so how did it go. I have been cleared to fly home feeling a little bit worried.

My boyfriend had a SAH in Sardinia 6 years ago, and flew home after 2 weeks and was fine. If you've been cleared by your neurosurgeon then I guess you have to trust them. Where are you flying home from?

I understand your concerns, cause I would like to fly again but don't know how my head would react? after all you cant get off? If you go Stateside please let me know how you got on. Good luck and be careful

Dear buzzard I did the flight it was fine. A long day but all went well. I did rest a lot the next day and on the plane I drank a lot of water. I left on the 6th . Still with family in the US
