Hi Suzanne,

I had constant infections w/ smells for 6 months & took antibiotics. Have new derm, off antibiotics. Instead tacking from outside by taking daily bleach baths (1/2 cup bleach to 1/2 tub) & using Neosporin twice a day - huge improvement for two weeks than switching to tacrolimus ointment. Please ask your derm about this approach.

The bleach helps clears the stinky infections. Hope you get some relief real soon.

Ask your doctor about a soap called Hibiclens (chlorhexidine gluconate solution) when I get a bad break out and when an infection is starting I just blot the area with this soap and it really helps with the infection and if that doesn't work then I go onto an antibiotic .Hope this helps some.
