Hello PainBfree,
I am waiting for a hemochromotosis diagnosis at present. I don't experience any pain so can't comment. However I have joined The Hemochromotosis Society Face Book page and there is a lovely group of people who would readily answer your question on there.
I really don't know why this forum isn't being used and have posted the question to the person running the Facebook page. Good luck and hope you feel better soon.
