Had my ultrasound in Jan 2023 after s lot of pain & bloating in October 2022 prompting a gynaecology referral. I eventually received a gynaecologist apointment for June 2024, he referred me for a repeat transvaginal ultrasound to see if any changes, which I had 2 weeks ago 17 Sept 2024 but still not had a reply for either a follow up appointment for results of discharge letter explaining results.

Does anyone know how long after a gynaecologist gets the results from scan do you wait to be contacted please tia x

Ugh, it is so inconsiderate when drs keep you waiting! Yes, you should be able hear about your results now. Go pester the drs office!

Thank you very much fir taking time to reply, I kept phoning the hospital and eventually I got some joy, I have to go in to discuss my rests in less than 2 weeks so progress but just fed up having to do my own chasing up hospitals all the time, if you don’t take charge of your own health & push they just seem to leave you so long x
