I have been diagnosed with mouth herpes and I think they were wrong.
This Infection started with ulcers in my cheeks 8 months ago they are still open and unchanged. There is a hard white discharge, almost splinter like coming from my scalp, sinuses, mouth, fingernails, fingers and toes. My toenails are falling off and I'm starting to lose my hair. Also, I've noticed my cheeks and eyelids are showing signs of this infection, small white pockets that turn hard. No rashes except my lips look they have canker sores and the corners of my mouth which have stayed torn from dry mouth attributed to meds and denture cream for years. For that I have been prescribed anti-fungal cream twice in the past and it worked to heal them. But it was a different doctor (retired). I have had NO vaginal or anas problems at all.
I have had constant headaches, neck and shoulder stiffness and extreme fatigue for months now. I stay exhausted all the time, it seems a great effort to do anything anymore.
Don't know if it's relevant but my right jaw area became very inflamed and swollen 2 months ago. I went to Urgent Care that put me on antibiotics. After 3 days it drained a watery looking substance but there's still a nickel size hard knot there.
I'm on my 2nd round of Valacyclovir HCl 1gram and has been no improvement. Yeast infection is the closes symptoms I have found so far. I'm on a very tight budget and no insurance on my job. I have GOT to get my next doctors visit to count and right now there is NO follow up scheduled. I can't keep paying and buying these high costs with no results, I just can't afford it.
Please give me some information, advice to go in with or at least possible test/blood work suggestions. Anything will be appreciated
I'm starting to feel about doctors like I do politicians and lawyers! I saw my previous doctor every 3 months for 5 years up until 1 month ago when I relocated. The old and new doctors knew all the information I'm forwarding.
