I have Graves’ disease and thyroid eye disease. It’s currently well managed and I am on 10mg of carbimozole per day.
I am also recovering from treatment for oestrogen reactive breast cancer - still undergoing reconstructive surgeries and taking oestrogen blocking medication.
I have now developed quite severe arthralgia and am struggling with movement. Both oncologist and gp have said exercise and painkillers are the only treatment for this. I do exercise everyday but I’m not willing to pop painkillers for the rest of my life (I’m 60).
So my question is: does anyone else on the forum who is taking carbimozole have any knowledge of CBD oil use and whether it caused negative interaction with their thyroid medication etc?
Thanks in advance for any info.

Sorry I have not tried CBD oil though have Graves but post RAI thyroid ablation back in 2005 - a treatment I deeply regret.
Do you already know of Elaine Moore in the States and her continued research around this poorly understood and badly treated auto immune disease ?
I'm sure if you post on Elaine's forum, as well as the main Thyroid Uk rather than Graves forum here, you will find many more replies to your question.
