Sorry you have had a relapse of Graves and are struggling with symptoms.

What are your blood test results? The following are important.

TSH

FT4

FT3

TPO antib

TGab

TSI or TRab if Graves suspected, presumably these were done when diagnosed?

B12

FERRITIN

FOLATE

VITAMIN D

What medication do you take? Are any of the symptoms caused by the medication? eg the allergies.

I had migraines when I was diagnosed this can cause heightened smell. It can be caused by many conditions. Although I only had visual issues. Only had over sensitive smell when expecting!

Sometimes hypers do gain weight (I did) but if it’s different than previous episodes then it unusual for you.

I don’t know how long you been back on medication? Is there a possibility your thyroid levels have now become too low. How often are you monitored?

Have you ever had positive and over range Graves antibodies - generally expressed as a TSI ( roughly translated as a thyroid stimulating ) or a TR ab ( roughly translated as a thyroid receptor blocking ) antibody :

Have your antibodies been tested again now, with this third relapse ?

Have you been put back on an anti thyroid medication like Carbimazole or PTU ?
