Black and white vision?

Has this happened to anyone? I noticed last night that while watching tv I kept nodding off and every time I woke up the tv was in black and white for a minute then colour would come back. At first I thought it was just the program I was watching, but after the 4th or 5th time I asked my husband and he said no. I have Graves and I still haven’t had a eye test even though I mentioned am having a few minor problems like watering and itchy eyes , I was a bit concerned about my vision and thought I would ask you lovely people who have helped me with other questions.
