Doctor won't give me anything for my TSH level.

Just got a call from the Doctor the Specialist for my results on my TSH level, and it was 5.81, and she said to go in a month for another blood work for my TSH. I asked her if she should be giving me something since I'm hypo and she told me no because it could turn on me. What comments could help me and perhaps maybe look for another Doctor even tho she's the best in town. The only medication I'm taking is for high blood pressure and I'm thinking the causeto it is because I've been hypo for I say two months already. I was diagnosed in 2016 as having both Graves and Hashimoto. Thank You and I live in the United States and love this forum.

Hi there sara, i think your gp should be testing you with a full thyroid panel, you are not on meths now if i remember? I think she should be giving you something now as you are off carbi/meths, you have hashis aswell,vi think you should give her the push as she seems to be running with your money and saying keep testing in a month and see her again whilst she can pocket more of your cash.i was hypo back in december but still using carbi which was reduced but you are not using that now. Interesting to see what others think. Good luck, do not give her any more of your money.xx
