Finally, an appointment with a leading authority on Dermatitis Herpetiformis!

Thank you so much whoever it was on GFG who last year mentioned a Dr Porter in Gloster,

uk. my husband waited close to a year for appointment with this man, we live in a different County so referral letters went to & fro but yesterday after a 2 hour drive we met up with a doctor who totally knows & understands Dermatitis Herpetiformis. My husband has been on 50mg Dapsone for about 1 yr & a half, he still suffers lethargy,tiredness & in spite of being on a strict GF diet still has outbreaks of blisters from time to time. Dr Porter recommended halving the Dapsone to see how it goes. But the best was having someone listening & us knowing that he knew what he was talking about, I personally was on cloud 9! I cannot thank the guy on here who told us in the 1st place enough, thank you, thank you, thank you.
