Hello - just looked this up and Coeliac.org.uk says although the spores for blue cheese are grown on bread, the end result is gluten free so ok for us to eat. It has never caused me a problem. Enjoy ☺☺

Hello, no problem here either.

Remember that many coeliacs can have a problem with dairy, or just the lactose part of milk.

I love it and haven’t had a problem specifically. I do have Bile Acid Malabsorption (can be tied to coeliac) which is made worse by anything high fat just in case there’s any chance other high fat things have the same effect :)

No I cant say that I have. In your case it could be 2 things or you are allergic on penicilin or on dairy? Check with your GP!

Thank you for your response. I am allergic to penicillin so that may be why I get a reaction but what is the penicillin connection?

The mould on Blue cheese is a type of penicillin, but not the same strain as the one used for the antibiotic, so you should probably be ok with that...hopefully.
