Anyone know how long it takes for a celiac biopsy to come through I had mine done on Christmas eve

Hello. When I had my one almost 2 years ago, I had to wait about 6 weeks! And.....eat gluten food and put up with the pain until then.

It's not a pleasant experience but it's over quick. Good luck....

Mine came back in 10 days. I think it depends on the hospital.

You may need to talk to your consultant's secretary to find out more about the timescale.

Thanks everyone I phoned the consultants Secretary and was told I'm ok no atrophy? And no celiac.but to continue eating gluten free as advised by the consultant when referred for the endoscopy. That was to eat gluten after the procedure which I've done, letter to follow.

Thanks angelias I haven't had a letter yet but phoned the secretary and she said I'm not celiac😊😊😊 having said that I had a bite of gluten cake Mr Kipling and got stomach pains so will definitely be sticking to my new gf diet now
