Re your endoscopy: I expect you will be offered two choices of anaesthetic. Either one to put you under or a spray on the back of the neck.

If you decide to go the spray route ask the nurse to give you lots of squirts. My two expereinces having choosen this option were marketedly different. The more spray the better in my case.
