I recently visited a restaurant in Felixstowe I asked for the gluten free menu.
One item read as follows.: 'our frites are gluten free but the oil is used to cry non gluten ingredients!
Anyone for raw frites?

You'd have more than a frite of you ate them...
And to me this is like rubbing our noses in it by saying we've contaminated our gluten free fries sorry frites.
How hard would it be for them to have a small separate frier?
Exactly Mabes! Not hard at all. We travel a lot and I often find gluten free accommodating restaurants online and when we get there they are not gluten free at all. Because they don't have a separate fryer and there is a big risk of cross contamination. Grrrrrrrt ha ha
Hey Kikideelili
