Thanks for highlighting the issue, it’s a valid point. The packs currently have a product identification code on them but not a description. The Factory Mgr has said it could be quite easily rectified and over the next couple of wks is looking at adding it onto the outer pack film.
All our HECK brand are Gluten Free however, we do produce 2 varieties for Harrogate Sausage Co. which contain Gluten. All our Gluten lines are produced at the end of the days production to avoid cross contamination and the seasonings / breadcrumbs stored in a separate room.
I have asked the question about using the same machinery/room and contamination also that other companies advise using gluten in the same building.
Any comments appreciated.
