This did not answer my question of "how does the customer know the right product is in the right sleeve"

Thank you for your email. All feedback is appreciated.

I am sorry to hear you have been ill. This has been highlighted to the Factory / Technical Manager who has confirmed that no E464 is in any of our sausages.

All our sausages are sleeved at the end of the production line to avoid the incorrect product in the packaging. Unfortunately once it has left our premises we have no control should anything happen. It is the mission of the retailers, and ourselves, to reduce packaging waste which is why it is not boxed and instead sleeved like other premium brands and own label products.

I am happy to send you a replacement if you would like to send me your address or a refund if you would prefer?
