I was diagnosed with CD 6 years ago and since then my bp has continued to rise, currently 160/90! Going back to Drs for more tests and ECG but obviously starting to worry!

Hope the test results are ok. Don't worry about it too much, it's a very common problem.

Have you put on weight since going gf? If you eat a lot of processed gf food perhaps that would increase your BP?

Thanks for this Penel. Yes is the answer to your question, about three stone but I'm still just under 11 stone which is what I was about 15 years ago!

My blood pressure was sky high before diagnosis - and blood pressure meds weren't working. Within weeks of going gluten free my blood pressure started to drop and has now stabilised in the normal range.
