Er, no. Sorry!

Only thing you can do is if they have been diagnosed coeliac, you can get some gluten free foods on prescription. If you then buy a prepayment certificate you will only pay a fixed sum and have unlimited prescriptions. So for more than 1 item a month this is cheaper.

am fortunate enough that i eat very little bread/pasta etc as had discovered several years ago that not eating carbs suited me better, now i know the reason why lol, so i dont bother getting it on prescription as takes up too much space and would be well past its best even from the freezer,

but remember that all your veggies/fruits/most meats etc are all naturaly gluten free aanyway

I used to get my food on prescription, sadly since May 2010 my doctor is only allowing me 3 small loaves of bread per month. And those loaves are vile so I dont ask for them.

You wouldn't happen to be in the South East, would you?

I am and the Primary Care Trust there took a hard view on gluten prescriptions.

I don't get prescription stuff any more. I don't like being dictated to you about what I can and can't have on prescription. I prefer to try around.
