Hi Red Texas,
I was diagnosed with my grade 4 GBM in May 2010 and if you have a read through my previous posts you will find information on the 'alternative anti-cancer' treatments I have been using, since 2010, which have worked for me. Has your brother-in-law cut out all unnecessary sugar, which feeds cancer cells? Pecan nuts, blueberries and turmeric spice also have anti-cancer properties in them, so he should include them in his diet.
The most important thing he, you and family can do is to stay positive, concentrate on living your lives in the best possible way you can, with plenty of laughter. I found it useful to also keep my brain working prior to and after my operation by reading, listening to music, doing crossword puzzles.
He should also listen to his body and allow his brain and body to heal after surgery and any follow up treatment he receives. From my experience 12 months was an ideal time scale. In the mean time spend time together talking about a positive future and what he would like to do after treatment.
A grade 4 GBM diagnosis can mean 'change of life, not end of life'. I always recommend that people consider that 'all life is terminal from the moment it is created'. From my view, my life was already terminal before my diagnosis and remains just as terminal today, as it was when I was born.
If you have any follow up questions, please do ask them and I will respond.
Wishing you all the best for a successful and positive outcome.
Kind regards,
Tansi 🙂
Hi Red,
My husband drinks a tea ,which I make, which is made using equal amounts of mistletoe herb, mugwort, wormwood and mistletoe herb. These teas are from the artemisin family which are known to have powerful cancer fighting properties. I started making him this tea after I read about a piece of research which had remarkable results. The link to it is here
pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articl...
My husband is now at 3 years with GBM and is still well and independent. He refused chemotherapy and dexamethasone and has treated himself using drugs we have researched ourselves. Including febendazole, Doxycycline, Alfa calcidol (activated vitamin D), DCA, various supplements such as alpha lipoic acid, vitamin e, selenium, liposomal vitamin c, magnesium, Chaga mushroom. He takes aspirin, 600mg twice a day and he says this is the only thing that has ever successfully taken away his pain.
The tea is something that he drinks with some liposomal vitamin c in it. He says it tastes awful but he gets a noticeable lift every time he drinks it. The research link I have given you is remarkable and definitely something everyone fighting this awful cancer, should know about.
I wish your brother in law all the best in his fight

I forgot to mention that I feel pure water is so important. We distill all our water now and I know alot of others here will advise purifying the water he drinks.
Hope he finds healing at Delray Beach 🙏
hey there RedTexas - Even though I chose to go down the traditional route in regards to initial treatment me (I woke up post op and pretty much was told I had no other choice) me & my mum researched a lot on alternative treatment options regardless .
Agree with above - no sugar. & Keto /carnivore diet may really help but it’s very hard & strict. After I finished radiation /chemo I followed this for a while. Check out what Matthew Phillips is doing in NZ.
Graviola tea (sour sop leaves) although you do have to take a break after a month of those & I’m also on 100 % Sea Cucumber - a natural cytotoxic which doesn’t damage healthy cells like chemo.
Spiritually I had also repented/ recommitted my life to Jesus a week before we found the stage 4 GBM in my front lobal cortex. 14 months on from the op, six months post chemo/radiation and my last three MRI’s have been clear. I genuinely feel I would be dead right now if we haven’t found the tumour when we did. It’s literally a miracle I can even write after what my brain has been through!
I also use the bible / scripture daily to rebuke any negative doctors words or opinions - can’t align with any opinions because although doctors may have an idea / diagnosis as per science but they aren’t God. Spiritual warfare is real.
I had a bit of a lapse with sugar & carbs but going back on keto/carnivore again this week. Keto is challenging as I have found my brain really struggles without quick fuel, so I also invested in sugar free alternatives like monk flour & keto friendly low carb hi proteins . But there’s some amazing products out there now .
Drinking 2L a day of filtered water also def made a huge difference too I think.
