Morning,

Oh I’m so sorry to hear about your husbands diagnosis and limited treatment options - is this because of the location of the tumour? When was he diagnosed? My mum has a GBM, just over a year since her diagnosis. It’s very hard. Do you have someone to talk to? Some good support around you both?

The Brain tumour support charity are there to offer support, they have support professionals / counsellors that you can talk to and also zoom online groups where you can talk to other people going through similar. They are there at the end of the phone. I often join the high grade zoom group one as people on there have GBM’s (I’ll attach info).

Take it a day at a time, be there for him but also make sure you have support for you too and someone to talk to. There are often no words when your faced with something like this, know we are all here to support you and you are not alone.

Thinking of you.

We only found out on 25th April, no treatment because of how deep it is, we have an amazing family and friends but it’s so tragic at 56 to be given this kind of news x

Oh gosh, I’m so sorry it’s happened so recently, no time to even process the diagnosis. My thoughts are with you all.

Hi Damned, My Aunt was diagnosed in May 2022 with Stage 4 Glioblastoma. 2 Tumours were present. She was scanned a few weeks later and another was present (3 Tumours) she had a Biopsy but was told there was no surgery options available as they were too deep. Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy were not an option either. She was prescribed steroids. As a preventative measure only they have offered Chemotherapy tablets for 5 days once a month only which she has accepted. After 3 months they will scan again and see if thee has been any improvement. How are you and your husband getting on?

Hi, sorry to hear about your Husband's condition?

I was diagnosed with a grade 4 gbm in May 2010, which was removed and had the standard course of treatment.

Why have you been told that there is no treatment for him, is it an inoperable tumour?

There are things you can do to fight his tumour, such as a change in diet. Have you cut out unnecessary sugar in his diet and alcohol; sugar feeds cancer cells. There is more information on the Brain Tumour Charity website about diet. Include blueberries, pecan nuts and turmeric spice, which have anti-cancer properties

I have been using what I call my alternative 'anti-cancer' treatments since 2010.

I drink ozonated water, which has extra oxygen in it - oxygen kills cancer cells. I use a Sota water ozonator to do this, which you can buy on-line; there are alternative machines available, which are cheaper. Also, I add drops of 3% Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide (Multi Purpose) to the ozonated water, 3 times a day. Google 'The Truth About Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide', which is an American document, which I used to make my decision to use it.

To help boost his immune system, you can also include food supplements. Since 2010 I have been using Higher Natures Immune+ tablets, which are designed to do this. Also their Complete Omega tablets, which are good for the brain.

Despite your current situation, it is important to stay positive and believe that you can get through this together. Do not waste time going on-line to look up outcomes for prognosis, etc. Spend your time concentrating on living your lives together for as long as that may be.

Don't forget that laughter is a great healer and do your best to do this as much as possible.

If you have any questions about anything, please do reply and I will respond.

Stay positive and take one day and one step at a time, do not live in a 'what if' world. Get on and lives your lives as best as you can.

I wish you both the very best for the future.

It's good that you have made changes to his diet. Is Proton Beam treatment also not an option? How is your husband at the moment?

I really do believe that drinking the ozonated water and use of FGHP has helped me. Given that there are no other treatments available at the moment, it could be worthwhile considering.

They never gave any treatment options apart from steroids x
