tiopex drops

hi I had trab done in 1stAug 2024 had a rocky road up to Oct . Then had stitches out & pressure was 12.

Then in Dec went back up to 20 disappointing but said might just need a bit of fine needling in theatre. She put me on tiopex and I’m due back tomorrow 14th Jan

Had my prescription changed just before Xmas was amazing

But feel I’ve got some side effects from drops one being my vision.

Has anyone had side effects in this?

Sorry to hear your vision problems on Tiopex. I notice that your appintment was due on 14 January - have your problems now been sorted?

Thank you My pressure was 16 & she would like it about 10.

So instead of adding more drops going to have needling done in 6 weeks and hopefully finally after this long turbulent journey reach a stable place .

Thanks for the update. I've never had it done but I believe needling is quite effective so good luck to you.

I don't know whether you are still taking Tiopex or whether you're still having trouble with it but from my own experience, I always find it takes a while for my eyes to get used to new drops and, in some cases, I have had to adapt to the changes they have had on my eyes. I hope that given time, your vision returns to normal. If not, it would be worth discussing an alternative drop with your consultant as there are so many to choose from.
