I have NTG and I’m suffering from a chest infection, blocked nose and constantly coughing, I have read somewhere that it is not recommended to use most otc decongestants. However, I think there was one which was ok. Can anyone shed any light on this please.

I use Beconase once each day, for rhinitis , and consultant is ok with this.
Sterimar (with copper) is very effective and natural but not sure if there are any contraindications with glaucoma.

Hi there. Decongestants are ok for NTG. They are only a problem for narrow angles and angle closure glaucoma. As NTG is a type of open angle glaucoma then you should be fine, but check with your consultant.
