Hello, does anyone use Iopidine eye drops? In another attempt to reduce my eye pressures I have been prescribed them and am feeling anxious about side effects ( I have had some nasty ones in the past). I’m hoping to hear how others have experienced this medication. Many thanks.

I have for several years, no real issues with themthat I can tell, they actually seem to reduce the redness caused by other drops.

Hello. We speak to many people on the helpline who use iopidine eye drops. Some people are fine with them, while others can experience some side effects. Unfortunately, there is no real way of knowing whether or not you will experience side effects until you try them for a few weeks. If you do start to experience side effects, give the eye secretary a call to explain what is going on.
