Hi there, it would depend on what type of glaucoma you have. Medications (including antidepressants) can be a problem for primary angle closure glaucoma, unless you have had an iridotomy or lens replacement (cataract) surgery. If you have primary open angle glaucoma, then medications are usually less of a problem. In any case, we recommend that you let you eye specialist know, as they need to be made aware of any medications that you are taking. Your eye specialist may want to monitor your glaucoma and eye pressure more frequently.
