It's World Glaucoma Week this week, and we're encouraging everyone to consider their personal glaucoma risk.
As you all know, it's crucial that everyone gets an eye test (sometimes referred to as an eye examination) every two years so that glaucoma can be detected and treated as early as possible. However, many people still don't attend their local opticians regularly.
Encouraging people to think about factors, like a family history of glaucoma, that put them at increased risk of the disease could make them more likely to attend an eye test. Read our blog about our activity for World Glaucoma Week, and please share it among your family, friends and social media followers. Doing so could save someone's sight. Thank you. 🙂
